Oliver's is the only approach. You tell them once politely what you are going to do, give them a time frame to respond and then do it. Blustering is just that. For five years from the mid nineties GPs complained bulk-billing payments were inadequate. The Feds just laughed. "Tell someone who cares". It's only when the percentage of bulk-billing dropped precipitously and an election loomed that any action resulted. You can talk the talk but you gotta walk the walk. Oliver is a troublemaker. He is trying to change the environment to one where the message delivery problem disappears. We should all emulate his stance. David
