Have been solo this week again, with my other two GPs away this week, and
one
for 3 months gone to Europe - am using the list as an emergency emotional
vent, otherwise I'd go nuts. Last three days in the practice every day till
20:00, day in day out nothing but whingeing patients, and callouts during
the
nights ... so just leaning back between patients and writing an email
whingeing myself about IT helps to remain sane.

Obviously I can't fulfill any active roles other than consulting - I have
been
a lousy "dictator" and even lousier "coordinator" in past projects and will
not try that hat again. I acknowledge that I haven't been made for teamwork.

(my role as practice principal is limited to picking the right people who
can
work independently - didn't even realize I had already 9 employees until my

all-managing wife got sick and I had to sign the paychecks myself )
