Hi Something bizarre has happened on my home PC - When I got home tonight I could not access my internet or e-mail. Using IE6/MS Office. MSMessenger does not log in either. I get a DNS error on the MSM and IE and Outlook simply cannot connect.
I can however get on Skype and is currently using my e-mail at work via a SSH link on the same machine. Internet access is therefore working - Riana's machine on the same modem/router is fine therefore the internet connection to the home network is not the problem. Last week I took a change and downloaded a program called TVANTS and TVU player that allows one to view various satellite TV channels on your PC - type of P2P video network that is supposed to be all legal and I could not find any warnings on Google about it. Ada-aware, MS Defender and Spybot scans after I installed the programs all came up clear.
