Clones are not being created, such functionality has been there all along. It is not much used though because most Linux desktop users would ratheruse virtual desktops. Currently I use "kompose" (apt-get install kompose) which does pretty much exactly what expose does on OS/X - only that it does it for any number of virtual desktops too And here is the catch in OS/X - you don't have a virtual desktop feature as KDE always had. I group my tasks into virtual desktops (eg one desktop shows only clinical apps, one shows email, Voip, Instant messaging etc., one shows browsers, and one shows my development environment - and I can flick between desktops with hotkeys or mouse scrolls or mouse gestures. But if you really want eye candy (and you have a fast graohics card) then you install 3dDesktop - it's a beautiful 3D correlate of expose Horst _______________________________________________ Gpcg_talk mailing list [email protected] http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk
