Well I do know exactly how my ISP support desk works.
I had trouble with inability to log on to my new home ADSL connection which 
consisted first of a Telstra fault - they hadn't connected it properly so 
there was no link from our line to the provider. 
I had good interesting chats with the tech by email until we got down to 
tintacks and Telstra had to fix it up at the exchange end. They did such a 
bad job they had connected an ordered 256/64 as 512/512 and I've suffered 
that.
