That should be RDP 1.0.3 - which is the latest (Oct 2004...).
Another article which contradicts my first!!
Best of luck:

What version of the Mac RDP are you using - wonder whether 1.0.1 has
this same problem?

Hello to all,
I've been accessing my surgery computer via putty and Remote Desktop
Connection from some of the Nursing Home computers of late. All on my
trusty USB stick.
However one nursing home has a Mac. Putty doesn't work on a Mac.
So I have been then using the Mac's terminal program to SSH to my esmith
box, and then use the Mac Remote desktop connection program that you can
download from Microsoft.
I get a connection via SSH to the linux box, start up Remote Desktop
Connection, type localhost:3390 to access the Windows server (as I do in
a Windows machine) but for some reason on a Mac this will not work.
If I used a Windows machine it would connect.
Any ideas what the problem would be?
