But you have always been exposed to cosmic radiation, background ground radiation, visible light, AM/FM radio radiation etc.
These are all types of radiation.
Whether you give the OK or not, youre gonna get it.
No one likes "radiation" but as educated people, we can put things in context.

This is a good article.
http://www.arpansa.gov.au/mph1.htm
It shows that 100m away from a mobile base station - the point of maximal signal strength - (not right under it as you might expect), the relative contribution of AM stations to total EM radiation exposure is still 92% ! So before we start having the heebee geebees about mobiles, Wifi networks, and microwave ovens, you'd have to be very concerned about AM. But if we accept AM, and that HAS been around for 20 years, then we can relax about the rest.

Trouble is, the damage to DNA from Xrays is seen 20 years after the event in
increased lymphoma and leukaemia
until a decent length of time has passed we can't give the OK to any form of
radiation or any dose of radiation.

... most of us learned about love the hard way. Even warnings are probably useless, for somehow, despite the severest warnings of parents and friends,
hundreds, thousands of women have forgotten themselves at the last minute
and succumbed to the lies, promises, flatteries, or mere attentions of
lusting, lovely men, landing themselves in complicated predicaments from
which some of them never recovered during their entire lives. And I am not speaking only of your teenaged Midwesterners in 1958; I'm speaking of women
of every age in every city in every year. The notorious sexual revolution
has saved no one from the pain and confusion of love.
