We all know that there is no perfect solution to anything- including software,
software providers and anything connected to humans in general.

It just seems unfair that some companies choose to ignore the requests of
the users, many, many users - over many years. In this day and age, it is
not as if there is a shortage of programmers etc

Many things James wants fixed would not take much time or effort to fix.
The letter draws attention to the immediate financial problems faced by
users. Imagine if this problem exists for the HUDGP with 349 Drs on the medicare
hic online payroll, imagine if the query which James setup to discover the
most major fault of discrepancies in how much money each Dr is to be paid
out of all the invoices created. Any practice with more than 1 Dr which
is using V5 as of July '06, may have severe problems sorting out who really
needs to be paid.
The legal implications for all who now know about this and do not run the
query and try to fix it are huge.

A panel of medical advisers to steer and guide the company would also be
advantage- another thing on the Medtech Users Forum wishlist.

I was totally unaware of the contents of the letter until yesterday afternoon.
