i recommend overclocking to anyone who likes to tinker - i don't actually go much past the "standard" limits, but i enjoy milking the revs out of "old" technology

gee, if i kill the xp-m 2600+ i'll have to replace it with the xp-m 2500+ it retired, or move my ddr bh5's and the agp card to the socket 939 waiting next to my computers (it's waiting for a box of its own)

bet my processor running at 40c is less stressed than most average pre-built standard rigs (the same family perocessor running stock with the standard heatsink idles at 45-50c, i get to 44c at 100% cpu use

as they say, "if it ain't broken, turn it up...."  :-D
