No, I meant "A single core machine would not be any faster than a
dual core with the process running on only one core".

Is there a point in getting a dual core CPU for a practice server
which isnt running something like Terminal Services ?
I think you should buy a dual-core Mac and run BP on Parallels,
giving you dual core performance. See this months Pulse+IT for more
details.
