it is widely known that "widely known" in SuitSpeak should be translated 
into "the author proposes" ...
and "approximately" translated from SuitSpeak into plain English would be "the 
author materializes this figure out of thin air"

Use your SuitSpeak dictionary, or better plug your email reader into BabelFish 
for SuitSpeak for auto-translation!
