All,

Deliberately to list <grin>

I thought I had checked - have been caught before! Silly me!

The essence of my criticism of this document is that while it understands and
catalogues
some of the key problems in the Health Sector as a whole it really does not say
how to do
anything practical to fix it - but says there is a lot of money to be saved
seemingly
based on an old (2004) HealthConnect study. There is a lot of other very
relevant research
that is not cited in this document.

I happen to think there is lots to be saved..but an investment is needed and to
have that
happen a hard nosed practical business case is needed to extract money from Mr
Costello
etc.

This document is not even a useful contribution to that as it really has
nothing we have
not all seen many times before IMVHO.

I want to see a real business case developed that will actually convince
Treasury - and
this or the NEHTA work are not near that target yet.

Cheers

David
