Even better: - set scheduler (eg cron) to reboot at a certain time of the day (eg 03:00 a.m.) - set boot manager to boot into tiny spare partition containig a g4u system between 03:00 and 3:05, else to boot normal system - write backup script in g4u system that backs up hdd on boot and then reboots voila, fully automatized full hdd backup with bootable image generated!
