Ken, do you belong to the 'inner circle' and would you be therefore more effective?
I really don't thing that the people of Australia will dump the Howard-Costello government in these happy economic times unless there is some major catastrophie. If you read Paul Kelly's editorial on the weekend it was more like an advertorial - for Howard. I have met Howard and I have met Rudd. I know who I would trust with my money and my future. Rudd has been pretending that he is a battler and came up the hard way when he has been living the good life all along. Power corrupts but what does it do to the already corrupted? Howard is far from perfect but what do you expect from a politician. Everywhere else they know that their politicians are crooks. Even in Singapore they are beginning to understand the realities of life. I expect that they will have Emperors soon instead of Prime Ministers. Good luck. If you can get 3 terms you won't even have to think about working ever again. One term and you can get lots of free dinners. Personally I dont vote and would not even if I had to. Hobson's choice it may be. Best wishes David de Bhal > Gavan Lim-Joon wrote: > > > Good luck Ken.
