Oohh thats nice pete,
2300 up, holy moly. I thought we were doing well with 18000/1000. How close are you to the exchange ? MS terminal services will always run better on asymmetrical DSL at the remote end, preferably 8000/368 as allowed by Telstra since Dec06 on most exchanges. I have a client who went from 1500/256 in Dec last year to 8000/368. (note the TS srv end has 18000/1000 ADSL2 with no contention ratio) If you are within range of an Agile exchange, Internode are now offering "Extreme" ADSL2, utilising the (draft) Annex M standard. We are getting 19000/2300 in Brisbane. I have two of them so far :-) Unless you are paying big dollars for fibre connections, this should give you quite a speed boost for little if any extra outlay. cheers, Peter.
