Take a look at the new Transparent Cloud Tiering – it works with S3 and on-prem cloud as well – we have a local swift cluster and it’s works perfectly.

If the interface is S3 then it would open the doors to tiering off to any on-prem “cloud” solution that supports S3 sufficiently well ( ours does ;-) )
