Hi,

I have downloaded GPGTools installer for use on Mac OS 10.6.4. I would like to install all of the components available in the package, but the installer gives the following message re enigmail:

"GPG Plugin for Mozilla Thunderbird. (visit http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ for further information)

Thunderbird needs to be installed and set up for this choice to be enabled!"

I am writing this email using Thunderbird on the same system. Thunderbird is present in the Applications folder. I did not see Thunderbird issues mentioned in the GPGTools FAQ or issues tracker. This is all I found on the enigmail site:

Why is Enigmail incompatible with my Thunderbird or IceDove?

Enigmail is only compatible to official releases of Thunderbird and SeaMonkey as provided by the Mozilla Foundation and its subsidiaries.

These releases are currently built for the following platforms:
  • Windows: x86,32bit
  • Mac OS X: x86, 32bit and PowerPC
  • Linux: x86, 32 bit
My Thunderbird installation is fairly recent (a few weeks) and seems to be "official". Is there some know issue or other problem I should address?

Thanks.
