Hi,

your e-mail source displays:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US;
rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101207 Thunderbird/3.1.7

Thunderbird's current stable version is 3.1.9 (that I am running here).
You should be able to update Thunderbird by Menu/Help/Check for
Updates...But I don't know whether this is the cause of the issue you
are reporting.

I am not familiar with Enigmail's installation by GPGTools.
If the shell script described in Alexander Willner's post does not solve
the problem, I can only suggest the manual installation:

Download Enigmail.
Enigmail current stable for Thunderbird 3.1.* is 1.1.2:
<https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/downloads/file/92939/enigmail-1.1.2-tb-macosx.xpi>

or TinyUrl: <http://tinyurl.com/488nprt>

In Thunderbird/Menu/Tools/Add-ons, click the 'Install' button at the
lower left corner, navigate to Enigmail's .xpi file you have downloaded,
chose it, click OK, follow the prompts, and restart Thunderbird to
complete Enigmail's installation.

You should then see an additional item in Thunderbird's Menu: OpenPGP,
scroll down to Preferences. If "Expert" Settings is not displayed,
please click the button at the left lower corner to display Expert
Settings, where you should check whether the path to your installation
of MacGPG2 (that should have been installed by the GPGTools installer)
has been correctly set.
It should be /usr/local/MacGPG2/bin/gpg2.

But as I indicated above, you might want to wait for the shell script
issue to be clarified, to the benefit of the GPGTools installer.

BTW, your message seems to have been composed in HTML, that does not
marry well with encryption. Better compose in plain text.

HTH,
Charly
