FWIW, I think it is absolutely possible and workable to have a version released 
where for example GUI for settings is _not_ implemented. That way people can 
try and see whether the actual functionality in Mail.App works.

The settings file should be possible to edit by hand, or use the old one.

Sure, many people will complain and ask, but I am nervous we will see even more 
questions when it will be released.

And on top of that, people like myself that are friends with emacs are waiting 
for this software to upgrade to 10.7 on all of my machines, because I am 
completely depending on it.
