Dear user list, We're happy to announce the next ALPHA* version of GPGMail. We're getting closer to a beta release:
* Download: the installer from [4], via integrated update method (if you're running 2.0a1, you've to close the preferences and restart) or via GPGTools Autodownloader (see below). * Changes: a lot! See [3] and [5]. * Time schedule, current status, design goals, roadmap, how to build, ...: see [1]. * New alpha version might get released later this week (it will fix the crash reported by Wilbert and sofasurfer). How can you help: * Please help us to update our 324 test results! It's very simple: see [2]. * Please help us to update our 133 open tickets! Some might be obsolete now with GPGMail 2: see [6]. * Please create new tickets for any bugs and feature requests: see [8]. Furthermore, there is another project idea in the pipeline: a GPGTools Installer that automatically downloads and installs the latest version of our products. * Advantages: it's very small (only 25 Kb) and we don't need to publish new versions every time we update one of our other projects. * Drawbacks: might not be as trustworthy as a big binary, needs internet access. * Download: see [7]. Let us know what you think. Happy testing, Alex on behalf of the GPGTools Project Team PS: signed with GPGMail 2.0a3 using OS X Lion ;) * Alpha means: has known (major) issues, for testing purposes only, not feature complete.
