Thank you very much for the offer! > Is there a new user's guide for setting up each test and for reporting > results? Since we currently do not have an automated test environment[1], it's all about manual testing. The table of test cases[2] tries to show reasonable combinations in a structured way. This way we've a better overview what is already tested/working and what is not. The table is created using this [3] script and it should be enhanced based on your experiences. What we're doing is to send and receive mails between Apple Mail and another mail clients (e.g. Thunderbird/Enigmail). For this we've an OpenPGP and S/MIME test key[7]. We can then store the mails as eml files (see [5]) for later reference. Furthermore, you can change the message files to test whether the OpenPGP implementation recognizes modifications. So for example: 1. Write a signed mail using Thunderbird/Enigmail with the OpenPGP and S/MIME key. 2. Send it to t...@gpgtools.org (this mail address does not exist) 3. Save the outgoing signed mail on your hard disk 4. Edit the message file 5. Open the file in Mail.app and see whether GPGMail shows you an alert 6. Add the file to the repository If you experience an issue with one mail (that means you would have expected something else) - then create a ticket[6] and try - if needed - to create a simple example (see [4]). I assume you've more questions now in your mind than before ;) Please do not hesitate to ask. Maybe you want to join our developer mailing list...
