Hello. I am running Mac OS 10.5.8. Leopard. I'm on Unix and cannot upgrade to Snow Leopard or Lion. I want and need GPGTools (so I believe) to be able to check signature veracity on certain downloads.
I downloaded GPGTools but the install fails with this message: "The following install step failed: run postupgrade script for GPGMail for Leopard. Contact the software manufacture for assistance." I do not know how to run a "postupgrade script" so any help would be greatly appreciated. On the gpgtools.org/ web site it says the following: "Yes, almost all components of the current GPGTools package run under OS X Lion. However, GPGMail is not yet compatbile and will be disabled by Apple Mail on first startup after updating to Mac OS X Lion" I don't see how or why this should affect my install but maybe there is no version for Leopard. Hope you can help. I tried one message earlier but somehow accidentally "sent it" before I was ready to so this is my second attempt. Thanks
