Thank you for committing this. I performed some more tests and I see the situation is unfortunately a bit more complex than I supposed previously. The camera indeed returns an PTP_CANON_EOS_CHANGES_TYPE_FOCUSINFO event with "0000200" data in case of non-focus, but... only after a full press. And the method based on PTP_DPC_CANON_EOS_FocusInfoEx is of course useless (the property is here, but without any meaningful data). So it might be reasonable to handle EOS M2 non-focus inside the EOS M branch (so no "hardcoding"), although this would make the code significantly more complex (and it still has to be copypasted to camera_trigger_capture() then!) I'll see what to do and probably send a new patch against the current git. So thanks again! -- Regards, Alexey Kryukov <anagnost at yandex dot ru> Moscow State University Faculty of History ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Gphoto-devel mailing list Gphoto-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gphoto-devel
