Hello,
I'm currently trying to control a Sony A7s III. In general I know, that
Sony doesn't like others to control their cameras, but I had the basics
working before at least for some older cameras (set settings and
capture&download image).
However, despite the fact that the A7s III is listed as supported and I
tried gphoto2 on both Archlinux with libghoto2 2.5.30 as well as macOS
with the same version of libgphoto2, I only get a few options listed as
configs and can't capture anything.
Autodetect only lists it as a generic PTP camera. All the general
information is attached. Any clue why it might not be working?
Tried in USB MTP mode with "USB-LUN-Einstlg." (whatever that means) set
to multi or "Einzeln". Seems to make no difference.
