The cached value is now updated when a new episode is downloaded.
$ time ./bin/gpodder --local
Without this patch:
real 1m6.970s
user 0m30.054s
sys 0m1.992s
With this patch:
real 0m15.948s
user 0m12.813s
sys 0m0.648s
