Summary: Messy filename with "save to disk"
           Product: gPodder
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://grouper.com/rss/ipod.ashx?o=0&fu=304436&fx=
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: low
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
   Estimated Hours: 0.0

With at least one subscription, the file name given with the "save to disk"
command is messy.

Podcast: http://grouper.com/rss/ipod.ashx?o=0&fu=304436&fx=
Ex. Filename: "#832 Miso
Daikon.Redirect.mp4?id=2380038&p=itv.mp4&campaign=itunes&playerType=feed&mt=.mp4"
 (quotes added by me)
This file name is very bad for Windows. The file is interpreted as a folder and
there is no way to rename or open it. It can be handled by ntfsprogs from
Linux. A pain for a dual booting setup.

I am using the latest git commit 079fe886e7ed4e72eb93abcdf5e0a3104e11a387

I have tried about a dozen other subscriptions with no problem except as
follows where the messiness is less serious.

Subscription: http://www.green960.com/podcast/maddow.xml
Ex. filename: 08 H2.Rachel%20Maddow%209-29-08%20Hour%202.mp3
> I guess the "%20" should be replaced by spaces.

Subscription: http://www.theonion.com/content/feeds/radionews
Ex. filename: Police Ferret Curled Up On Evidence.podcast_redirect.mp3
> The "podcast redirect" doesn't show up in the episode title so I assume it
> shouldn't appear in the filename either.
