I've just been showing this to nikosapi yesterday:

I had around 25 download threads, of which only 3 were active. It still loaded
the CPU up.
I think the best way would be to get rid of idle threads completely. If I
limit downloads to 3, there should only be 3 threads which would pick episodes
from a queue.
