Please try moving ~/.config/gpodder to e.g. ~/.config/gpodder-backup and start from scatch and see if this problem persists. Close gPodder before moving/renaming this folder and start gPodder after moving/renaming this folder. You might want to save your subscriptions as an OPML file first, so you can easily import it in your fresh data folder later. Please report back if this fixes your problem.
