Summary: Corruption on database when gpodder is killed
Product: gPodder
Version: 0.14.0
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: feature request
Priority: low
Component: Application
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
When gpodder is killed or freezes (instead of gracefuly closed), any changes to
your podcast list, downloaded, or deleted episodes will be lost from the
database. This turns gpodder's list to be un-synced with the files that are on
the download folder.
Quick (albeit annoying) solution: Delete everything on gpodder download
folder then re-download your episodes. Your podcast list changes will be lost
though.
As a solution I vote for having gpodder update the database every time
something changes. Alternatively it would be nice to set how often you want
gpodder to save it's DB through advanced configuration.
