I noticed if I delete an episode or transfer an episode to my MP3 player, and then shutdown my PC (which kills gpodder) The next time I ran gpodder I noticed the deleted episodes were not marked as deleted, and the transferred episodes were still marked as unplayed. So those two operations are being committed to the database.
