Summary: iPod database not being written after a sync
           Product: gPodder
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: low
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

I'm using an iPod shuffle gen 2, Fedora 11, Gnome Desktop, latest Fedora
updates in everything but the kernel.

So here's what I do.

1) Connect iPod and wait for the system to recognize it
2) In gPodder click synchronize and wait for the podcasts to transfer.

If I now eject the iPod, I cannot listen to my podcasts. The light flashes
quickly from orange to green. So I must

3) Open gtkpod
4) Click "close" that the itunes database is not matching the sha-1 hash
5) Select all pocasts
6) Right-click -> "update from dirs"
7) Click on "Save changes"
8) Close gtkpod
9) Eject iPod -> Now I can listen to it

I feel like gPodder should do steps 3-9 automatically for me. Finally got
annoying enough for me to file a bug.
