--- Comment #13 from Hilton Shumway <[email protected]> 2009-10-28 20:17:00 GMT --- No code so far. I did work out how it would work. The user identifies the device, either choosing a preset given (something like how WinFF does it currently?) or gives a set of arbitrary ffmpeg parameters. These parameters are then used (either given by user directly or found in the WinFF preset) when calling ffmpeg on the downloaded file. Some form of test could maybe be added to determine if transcoding is necessary (easiest with YouTube+iPod). Keeping multiple copies around could be useful for those with multiple devices. As for myself, I have two devices, and I want audio only on one, and video only on the other. Gpodder currently provides no way to manage them like that, which is really a separate issue, but it means I'll need to do that as well. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.gpodder.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ gPodder-Bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/gpodder-bugs
