The patch included in bug 777 resulted in a new error:

AttributeError: 'gPodder' object has no attribute '_config'
Not quiet sure about correct solution for this, but it could be workarounded by
checking hasattr(self,'_config') and only then using _config reference , since
main window is there most of the time.
