Summary: PM Podcast feed error
Product: gPodder
Version: 2.8+ (Git "master" branch)
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: low
Component: Application
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]

There's a problem in a feed I'm pulling and manifesting itself in gpodder. I'm
git pull'ed as of 08/28/2010.
http://feeds.feedburner.com/pm-podcast
Right now, this feed has 2 Episode 153 entries that have the same enclosure.
The topmost entry is supposed to be for site subscribers, and the second (and
other mp3's) for all. I'm not a site subscriber, so I have no clue how that
works.
This feed will get weekly entries, so I suggest someone get a snapshot of it
before it rolls off in several weeks.
In gpodder, I see the two entries from the RSS feed. Gpodder will download
one, and mark that entry appropriately. The first entry stays as 'new'. And
upon each download, it will get the mp3 again, and keep the entry as 'new'.
There might be a better way to handle this in the application. I'll leave that
to the excellent developer.
There's a simple workaround - just mark the newer entry as 'not new'.
