As originally suggested in [1] for gPodder, mygpo-feedservice doesn't support
RSS-Redirects [2] either.
Support for XML-based redirects should be added so that the "new" (referred to)
feed is automatically parsed and included in the response.
An issue for the feedparser library has been filed for this [3].
