This appears to be related to at least two previous bugs.

The example feed given for this bug appears to have changed since it was
lodged; http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/series/techweekly/podcast.xml now
appears to include only audio files.

Indicates the problem is/was upstream in feedparser. Morten stated that his
patch fixed both example feeds given
(http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/series/the-bike-podcast/rss and
http://feeds.boingboing.net/boingboing/tv) but for me the guardian feed still
doesn't work in 2.19.
