             Bug #: 1450
Summary: gtkpod hashing interfering with sync
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: gPodder
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: feature request
          Priority: low
         Component: Application
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

Most of the time when I get done syncing my 80GB White iPod Classic, the
episodes are totally screwed. So, I load up gtkpod, it says the hashes are
wrong and hases all 3000+ songs. When it is done, everything is fine.

Also, every time I sync more than 1 new episode, they are all added on as the
same "song" (i.e. 12 with same name, artist, size, etc.), according to "Device"
> "Select and remove...". I have to sort by "Copied" and delete everything from
"Today", then re-sync.

If I only have 1 to sync over (+ whatever gets deleted), then the whole
structure is f&%#ed - some are titled "Root", the new one is missing, others
may/may not be missing too. Run it through gtkpod - everything is fine, names
are back to normal and everything IS there.

Do I need to disable this obviously not working advanced config setting
(ipod_write_gtkpod_extended)?
