Bug #: 1481
Summary: no podcast when iPod set to GPODDER_HOME
Classification: Unclassified
Product: gPodder
Version: 3.0.0
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: blocker
Priority: low
Component: Portable device synchronization
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
I see that gPodder 3 does not have a sync-to-iPod capability, so I tried
setting GPODDER_HOME to my iPod's mount point and running `make test` from the
gpodder-3.0.0 directory (downloaded as a gzipped tar). I added one subscription
and downloaded one podcast from that subscription. gPodder and my iPod act like
a podcast is being copied, but when I disconnect my iPod, there is no new
podcast there. Thankfully, music, photos, and podcasts sync'ed with gPodder 2.2
are undisturbed.
My iPod is an 80GB 6th Generation iPod Classic
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPod_Classic#Sixth_generation).
