I just registered to reply that I'm on a Greek language Windows XP Home Premium with SP3 and I am experiencing this very same behaviour. I just thought it worthwhile to chip in as it may be a language encoding issue. The program did work in its 2.x versions--I can't even recall when I started using it! A very long time ago indeed.
