I've taken a look at the Archos 605 wifi. It looks
interesting, be it a bit 'bulky' in comparison with an
iPod. I guess I'll have to see it in real life.
Judging from the Archos website, their icons look very
'TrollTech'y, i.e. qt3 or something related.

I have a very small, 256 MB player by Cowon, which is
now 4 years old and still going strong. Cowon's
website states Linux is supported for file transfer
only - should be good enough, and the iAudio X5 is
Rockbox-able.
