Hello Thomas,

If the directory name should fit into this 255 characters too, I would
suggest to increase the length of the filename to 100 characters. 50 chars
could be to small and 200 chars is really big. I don't really know, it's a
difficult question, but If the directory is a part of this filename the
length of the episode should not too big. (100 characters could be a good
tradeoff)
Some channels/podcasts have also a long name and if you configure gPodder to
create a path for each channel this could be the next problem in the future
