As a Windows user I wound up finding eyeD3 rather difficult to use for 
development, and when I briefly investigated trying to do some id3 manipulation 
I was gravitating towards pyid3, which is pure python.

I found the list here to be fairly useful when I was looking for a library to

    And it would be great to support not only mp3 files but also ogg files.
    I think eyeD3 only supports mp3 :-(
