Can you copy files to your device manually? Maybe it's mounted readonly? Also, the dialog is made so that you can press Yes to continue - does it work when you press "Yes" (to continue)? If it doesn't work, can you file a bug at bugs.gpodder.org (assuming account creation works now ;))?
