Steven, Can you try this with the GRASS 7.8.4dev binary I have on the Mac site? I'd like to know if this affects all binaries or just 7.9

The 7.9-dev build throws an error because it appears to be still looking for components based on your system, specifically.,The 7.8.4 binary (16th July 2020 build) also throws the same error.
