might it be possible to establish an OSC connection between GH and
other apps.
OSC (OpenSoundControl) is a protocol quite popular in sound stuff (as
the name suggests) and hooking up different input devices for any
purpose you want.
http://opensoundcontrol.org/introduction-osc

you could design a configurator interface that hands over slider
parameter to GH in real time, hook up a wii remote to the camera
movement (if we get a camera component...) or use your ipod touch to
change parameters in a presentation. there are also way to make flash
speak OSC...

i would like to use max/msp as a companion of GH. this would not only
be real fun but also expanded posibilities beyond pure "geometry
creation". don't get me wrong: i love GH. witnessing this fantastic
new playground evolve, lots of stuff comes to my mind that one could
connect to GH and thereby open it to other front-ends.

unfortunatly, i am not (yet) into any scripting language and wonder if
VB.net, Phyton.. could do the job?
a component that listens to incoming OSC datastreams would be perfect.
bidirectional even better ;-)

probably i am dreaming of something too horribly complicated...

cheers,
frank
