I tried to replicate what I think you are trying to achieve:

I'm not sure of what you mean when you say "the rotation of the shape
by the curvature of a second "rotation" curve at that paramter".
What I did (I think) is: first copy the profile curve a number of
times along a rail curve without changing its direction, then orient
those profiles so that if they were placed in the same place but on
the other 'rotation curve', they would be placed perpendicular to the
tangent of the curve at that point.
