Hi all,

I am working on a pavilion where I am planning on using packed tubes/
pipes as the component to build it.

The idea is that the pavilion emits a sound when it is windy, as the
wind will pass through / over the pipes but that the pipes also change
their opening size in order to control the light coming in.

I have generated a surface that is somewhat based on the wind
conditions http://www.adelzakout.com/pav.jpg and now want to generate
a pattern of circles on that surface that i can then extrude to form
pipes.

I have been able to somewhat achieve a packed surface by using the
manual Apply UV Curves function in Rhino http://www.adelzakout.com/uv.jpg
but the problem here is that it's a manual process and thus the
internal pipe radii cannot be responsive to say the sun conditions and
also that there is a lot of deformation within the pattern.

The problem is that I want these circles to be packed and not deformed
into ellipses and I'm having trouble getting around the logic on how I
may do it parametrically within grasshopper- any help would be
appreciated!

Thanks!

Adel
