merge multiple

Hello,

I'm having some trouble with a MULTIPLE MERGE.

Paths 0, 1, 2, 3 each have 4 items.  After the MERGE MULTIPLE the
first item of Path 1, 2, 3 is rendered "null".  That isn't the case
for Path 1, though.

It's causing me no end of grief.  Any ideas?
