It's a bug that hasn't been fixed yet (it was also present in the
previous version of GH).
The workaround I'm doing right now is to substitute the merge
component for a parameter. For example, if you want to merge points,
place a point parameter and connect the various streams to it. Just
remember the order in which the wires are connected.
