So I've been working on building out extractors for my environment and after adding several it seems the input these extractors are tied to basically stops functioning properly and no more messages get logged. After terminating the input and re-adding messages are again being logged, but if I add the extractors back the input stalls again. I've only got about 7 or 8 extractors on this particular input. These extractors are regex based and the input is UDP based. Any best practices or tuning advice to ensure that my inputs and extractors don't get overloaded.
